Our Business Book Keeping Services?

Keeping appropriate records of your transactions are a pre requisite to any organisation. The process will encourage discipline and controls, your accounts can only ever be as accurate as the books you keep. At a very basic level you should keep the following, Cash Book- It records all of the payments made into and out of your business's bank account. Sales invoice file- Most business produce invoices in numerical order , this is much easy to control and to ensure cut off and sales collections are done. The invoices should be filed in a Sales File and ticked off when entered onto the accounting system Most companies have a paid and unpaid invoice file , this helps when searching for an invoice to chase. Purchase invoice-This should be put in a file called unpaid invoices , once paid they then get transferred to a paid invoice file. It is also useful to write paid on the invoice with the cheque number so that any problems can be resolved if the creditor does not receive his cheque. Petty Cash Book- This should be recorded in a petty cash book and all receipts put in an envelope for each month These basic disciplines are very important and will save a lot of struggling to find invoices etc at the end of the accounting year.
